Will I lose control during hypnosis?

No. You stay fully aware and in control the entire time. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process, not mind control.

Will I say or do something embarrassing?

No. You are always in control. You won’t do or say anything you wouldn’t normally be comfortable with doing. You will not be asked any questions or need to respond during your session. Hypnotherapy is not like the stage hypnosis you may have seen in the media.

Is hypnotherapy safe?

Yes. Hypnotherapy is a gentle and natural process. When guided by a trained professional, it is a safe, supportive way to work through emotional and behavioral patterns.

What if I get stuck in hypnosis?

You can’t get stuck. Hypnosis is a natural state. You can return to full alertness any time you choose. It is similar to waking from a nap or coming out of deep focus.
